Welcome to the Sensedia Flexible Actions user guide1.
Flexible Actions generates alerts by monitoring APIs and events occurring in the Sensedia API Platform.
API monitoring is performed by regularly checking predefined signals, allowing you to act on potential issues before they become serious complications. Monitoring strategies and tools provide predictability and effectiveness, reducing the time needed for preventive actions and protecting the system from failures. API monitoring can also be used strategically to support business decisions, helping you visualize how well your API consumption goals are being achieved.
Platform event alerts are notifications triggered when an action you want to monitor occurs in the Platform—such as the creation, editing, or deletion of objects (APIs, apps, users, etc.).
The main goal of Flexible Actions is to help you monitor your APIs and Platform through an intuitive and simple interface, with no need for coding. This reduces operational risks, generates business insights, and gives you more time to focus on the strategic decisions that impact your company most.
